
Circle Innovation and Kois Invest have partnered to launch the Circularity Launchpad, an 18-month program aimed at supporting 20 Circularity and Waste-focused SGBs in Kenya. The program will support 2 cohorts of 10 SGBs each for 6 months each to receive expert tailored business training and advisory to enable them to refine their business models and connect them with aligned investors to secure investments for growth and scale.
We have launched the call for applications for the first cohort of the program which runs from March 2025 to August 2025.
What We are Looking for
We invite applications from innovators and researchers with research-backed innovations addressing GreenTech, HealthTech, BioTech, Food/AgriTech, e-mobility, and Circular Economy in East Africa. The program is open to innovative and future-relevant applications impacting society and the SDGs. We especially encourage applications from youth, women-led teams, and innovators from underserved populations based in East Africa.

- Access to Business and Circular Economy Experts: Receive tailored support from business experts to refine your business strategy and accelerate growth.

Eligibility Criteria
Businesses must meet the eligibility criteria below to apply for the program:
- Operate within any subsector in the circular economy and/or waste management sector
- Be registered and headquartered and actively operating in any part of Kenya
- Have at least 3 years of business operations, with demonstrated market presence and traction.
- Have an annual turnover of between 2,500,000 Ksh and 6,000,000 Ksh
- Have clear goals for scaling and looking to attract investments
